The fun game Poker is played with a 52 card pack was originated & popular in United States. The cards are known by its ranks like Ace, Jack, King, Queen & numbers from 10 to 2.Along with that of course there are suits like diamonds, club, heart and spade. Each Player gets 5 cards, the hand having the highest card set wins.

In certain games, the use of a wild card entry like Joker is also allowed.

Five of a Kind, having this means it’s the highest ranked. More that one such five in one hand signals a win, like Five Kings beat Five Queens or Five Queens beat Five Jacks.

The best natural hand is called a Straight Flush that may present an order of 5 cards like 4-5-6-7-8 & all of them should belong to same type of suit. The highest natural hand is this sequence A-K-Q-J-T.

Another rank followed in Poker is four of a Kind; here all the four cards should be of the same rank. Sometimes with wild card entries, a poker game may come across 2 players having 4 cards of the same rank. In such cases, the hand having the highest card wins.

Using the wild cards in a game, we also get a Full House. In this, one should have an order like J-J-J-4-4.The Superiority of higher rank is judged by the order, like Q-Q-Q-A-A will beat Q-Q-Q-J-J.

We also come across another ranking like Flush, here all the 5 cards must belong to the same suit whether its spade or diamond or hearts.

Now when we have understood about the different ranking followed in Poker, the next part come is how to place the betting. Poker is a gambling game with players betting on the table where one gets three preferences-

Call, when you make the call, make sure you remember what you had betted in the previous time.

Raise, one should give a raise when it’s sure of matching on the bet done as for the last time during the call.

Fold, it’s like dropping the game where one need not put any money.
